Professional Cap Cutters for Hard Concrete

Lavina Black Cap Cutters are engineered primarily for removing the hard surface cap found on extremely dense concrete. Their aggressive cutting design quickly breaks through the top layer of the slab, exposing sound concrete ready for further grinding, polishing or surface preparation.

Designed for use on super hard concrete with a Mohs hardness of 8–9 (approximately 8,000–9,000 PSI and above), Black Cap Cutters maintain excellent cutting performance where conventional tooling can struggle. By efficiently removing the concrete cap, they help improve the performance of subsequent grinding stages and reduce the time spent on demanding preparation work.

In addition to cap removal, these cutters are highly effective for aggressive concrete grinding and can also be used to remove hard coatings, epoxy, paint, adhesives and other stubborn surface contaminants.
