Product Overview
FABER 30 2.0 is a concentrated alkaline cleaner for heavy-duty cleaning of greasy dirt and foot traffic soiling. It combines strong cleaning action with gentleness on hard surfaces, including polished marble and glazed, polished ceramics. It is particularly effective against tyre marks and suitable for deep cleaning high-traffic areas.
Key Benefits
- Removes stubborn greasy dirt and foot traffic dirt.
- Particularly effective against tyre marks.
- Suitable for synthetic floor coverings, including PVC, epoxy and polyurethane resins.
- Can be used undiluted or diluted according to the cleaning task.
- Suitable for indoor and outdoor surfaces.
Suitable Surfaces
- Natural stone: marble, limestone, travertine, granite, slate, sandstone, quartzite, porphyry, tuff, Basaltina/lava stone and molten basalt.
- Ceramic and porcelain: craquelé ceramics, glazed ceramics, clinker, polished porcelain, glazed polished porcelain, natural porcelain and textured porcelain tiles.
- Concrete and manufactured stone: concrete, concrete tiles, reconstituted stone, marble-cement agglomerate, marble-resin agglomerate and marble-quartz agglomerate.
- Clay surfaces: cotto and terracotta.
- Synthetic flooring: PVC, epoxy resin and polyurethane resin coverings.
Always test a small, unexposed area or an unused piece of material before treating the whole surface.
How to Use
Dilution
- Undiluted: for the final stage of a double wax stripping process, or for dissolving particularly stubborn resin, wax or polymers.
- 1:2 — one part product to two parts water: for strong degreasing of large amounts of stubborn residue, or worksite cleaning on acid-sensitive materials.
- 1:6 — one part product to six parts water: for periodic floor cleaning as a simple degreaser.
Preparation and Application
- Remove dust, debris and coarse dirt with a broom or vacuum cleaner.
- Work in small sections suited to the material’s absorption. On highly absorbent surfaces such as terracotta, treat no more than 4–5 m² at a time. Larger sections can be treated on low-absorbing polished stone or ceramic tiles.
- Apply the chosen solution evenly across the section using a single-disc machine or large brush.
- Allow approximately 10–15 minutes of contact time, working the product periodically with a single-disc machine to assist its dissolving action.
- On absorbent materials, add more solution if necessary to keep the surface covered with a fine layer throughout treatment.
- Select the pad or brush according to the surface and residue. Use a white pad for polished, delicate surfaces such as marble, limestone and glazed materials. Use a green or light blue pad for rough, unpolished surfaces such as terracotta and concrete.
- Add sufficient clean water to form an emulsion with the solution. Distribute evenly with the machine or brush, then remove the excess, preferably with a wet vacuum.
- Rinse thoroughly with clean water. If further treatment is needed, wait until the surface is completely dry throughout before repeating.
Wash application equipment with water after use.
Technical Information
- Coverage: 8–10 m² per litre.
- Pack sizes: 950 ml and 5 litre bottles.
Keep the original container tightly closed in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place, away from direct sunlight and incompatible materials such as acids.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use it on polished marble?
Yes. The technical data sheet includes polished marble among the suitable surfaces. Test an inconspicuous area first and use a white pad for polished, delicate surfaces.
When can the floor be used after cleaning?
After thorough rinsing, the floor can be reopened for use as soon as it is dry. Before applying another treatment, wait until the material is completely dry throughout; the time required depends on its type and absorption.
What should I use for daily cleaning afterwards?
Faber recommends NEUGEL or ALGAFLOOR for daily cleaning after treatment, selected according to the surface material.
