Technical Specifications

Application

The surface should be clean, dry and free from dust, dirt and contaminants before application. AC 300 can be applied to slightly damp surfaces but should never be applied to wet surfaces. Application should only take place when the substrate temperature is between +5°C and +40°C.

The product must be diluted before use. For industrial or glazed Cotto, dilute AC 300 at a ratio of 1:2 with water. For handmade Cotto, Terracotta floors and highly absorbent materials, dilute at approximately 1:3 with water.

Before installation, tiles are normally treated by immersion for 10–15 seconds before being removed and allowed to dry. Prior to laying, treated tiles should be left for at least 24 hours.

After installation, apply an even coat using a brush, roller, lambswool applicator or sprayer. Allow the treatment to dry fully before grouting or carrying out further work.
