WET LOOK ECO is a water-based treatment that enhances colour and provides stain resistance on materials with medium to high absorption. It penetrates the material, intensifying its colour and producing a satin or matt finish depending on the surface and application method.

Suitable Surfaces

Suitable for the following materials where they have the required degree of absorption:

• Natural stone
• Terracotta
• Bricks
• Concrete
• Agglomerates
• Concrete tiles

Not suitable for porcelain tiles or quartz.

How to Use

Surface preparation

• Clean the surface thoroughly, removing all dust and dirt. The surface must be completely dry.
• Protect nearby surfaces that are not being treated.
• For recently laid or grouted surfaces, allow the adhesive or grout to cure completely before application.
• Always test on a small, unexposed area or an unused piece of material to check suitability before treating the whole surface.

Dilution

Select the dilution according to the material’s absorption and finish:

• Undiluted: for highly absorbent materials and rough finishes.
• 1:1 with water: one part product to one part water for medium to medium-high absorption and textured finishes.
• 1:2 with water: one part product to two parts water for medium-absorption and compact surfaces.

Application and residue management

Apply a thin, even layer using a brush, lambswool applicator or roller, covering the whole surface evenly. Highly absorbent materials will absorb the product during or immediately after application. If a second coat is needed on these materials, wait at least 2–3 hours after the first application.

On less absorbent surfaces, the product may leave a surface residue. Remove this before it dries, or buff it to produce a satin finish. On more compact surfaces, wait no longer than 5 minutes before removing or buffing the residue.

• To minimise shine: remove residue using the same application tool, without adding more product.
• For a satin finish: distribute the residue evenly, then buff using a single-disc machine or hand polisher. Use a clean white pad first, followed immediately by a felt pad. Continue until the surface is dry to the touch.

Application Guidance

• Follow the application guidelines of a surface temperature between +5°C and +35°C.
• Never apply to wet, damp or overly heated surfaces.
• If applying over a high-penetrating water-repellent sealer, allow that sealer to dry completely first.

Technical Information

• Coverage: 15–20 m² per litre.
• Drying time: 1–2 hours after application.
• Resume surface use: 4–6 hours after application.
• Appearance: white, unscented liquid.

Keep the container tightly closed. Store in the original container in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place away from direct sunlight.
